We got it this high with a chain hoist on a chain stretched across the top of the walls. Then we take over with our lifting poles.

My son, Justin did a great job getting the sawmill to crank out 3 rafters out of a 22"x19ft. log.

We discovered that a floor jack has a lot of pulling power to lessen some gaps. By rebarring and then bending over the rebar at the top holds the log down.
